Hi all I want to change the colour temperature of the HID bulbs in my xf to 10000k (blue tint) but can't seem to nail what bulb type it has. After some searching online I get mixed results.

H7 ( this is not an HID bulb anyway )

D1S

D3S

I'm sure it would say it on the bulbs but don't fancy removing the headlight unit just to see a bulb type then removing it again to swap them out.

It's a 2011 portfolio one of the first Face lifted models.

Thanks

Update:

I will be removing one headlight tomorrow to put this to rest once and for all.

The majority of web sites say it's A D3S however Halfords in store help desk say its D1S

I can confirm the headlight bulb in my XF is a D3S and not the D1S that Halfords has on file for my year. Glad I checked now
