Hi Tony, And welcome to the club.

The sim card should remain in the mobile phone and all you need to do is to pair the phone with the car.  I am assuming that Bluetooth is fitted and you phone bluetooth is switched on.

I will contact Steve at Admin re the club sticker.

Regards,

Peter.

i havnt seen the blue tooth on the car but the stereo in the car has a built in phone so i'm assuming it needs a sim card it has a key pad a green phone for answering a red phone for shutting off a call and there are buttons on the stearing wheel for the same phone so there must be a place to insert a sim card but the only slot i have found is the cd slot lol

Hi Tony,

Has your s type got the touch screen?  That is a different system slightly yuan the other display.

Hi Tony,

Your s type has the same screen as my x type.  My phone would not pair with it either,  But you don't have to take ou the sim card from your phone.  There is no slot for it.

If you have the owners manual you will have the instructions.  You can download owners manuals, but I can copy them onto the site if you don't manage to do that.

Regards,

Peter.
