Good to join a group of like-minded Jaguar owners and hope to be able to learn from those more experienced with Jaguars than myself.

I've just parted company with my much loved S-Type 2.7 Sport and aquired an XF S Premium Luxury 3.0D 2011. Lovely car to drive with a lot more poke than my S-Type but I do hanker a little after the old retro style and a decent gear lever!

Not impressed with the satnav though which appears to offer very little when compared to a TomTom. What happenned in designing that one! Are there any upgrades to this very basic satnav does anyone know?

Welcome to the Club, Calum.

I am still enjoying my S Type, but I do agree that the Sat Nav does seem a bit lacking as against the Tom Tom.

But I do rather like it.  Doris is far more polite than the Tom Tom I had!

Regards,

Peter.

Cannot understand all the problems with the sat nav.

Mine was excellent in both my XJ Supersport and XKR (both 2012) no problems at all , and I live in the sticks!

ATB,

Trevor

Old Peter is quite right - she has a very attractive voice but.......why doesn't she have the facility to indicate the statutory speed limit against current speed driven as a TomTom does, or spot speed cameras as the TomTom does? Have I really got to run my TomTom allongside the Jag satnav to get all this basic info?
