Hi folks. I love my jag but I find personalised plates a bit embarrassing. I know some people love them but they're just not for me!

I haven't looked into the how's of transferring numbers but how hard can it be!

If you're interested drop me a line.

Cheers

Al

Hi Alan, and welcome to the club.

I am with you on personalised plates.  I don't think getting back to the original ones is too hard.

My son bought a car for £450 with personalised plates and sold then to someone named J600 for £200.

I would just ring the DVLA, as well as putting the plates up for sale.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks Peter. I'll call the dvla. Any thoughts on where to sell them? Or is good old eBay the best bet?

Yes that was mine. I had to re list it because I accidentally put it with the wrong car.

It's back on ebay now.
