Changed my air filter a couple of weeks ago, with the hope of probabley getting more mpg. Wrong, for some reason my around town and rural driving has dropped. Any ideas guys. wondered if an additive might help.

Stan.

lucky to get 20 mpg round town.

I the days when you had t pull out the choke to get the car started, in the cold weather it took a longer time before you could push the choke fully back in.

Nowadays   the car does everything for you.

There was a story about a lady who complained to a garage that the fuel consumption on her car was not very good.  After several checks the mechanic asked he to take him out for a drive.  She got into the car, pulled out the choke and hung her handbag on it.
