S Type radiator fan

I have been told by Guy Salmon Jaguar that my radiator fan motor needs renewing at an astronomical cost. I have found a new fan motor and wondered if anyone knows if they are easy to fit (there doesn't seem to be a Haynes manual for the S Type, only the X type)

No there is no Haynes for the S Type. but it should be easy enough to change the , you may have to remove a few radiators first.

Work shop manuals in cd form are available on this site.

Hi Earl,

 

It does not look too difficult a job, - a bit finnicky  -  but better to do it yourself than giving Guy Salmon £140 an hour to do it.
