Some believe the XJ220 is one of the greatest supercars of all time. It’s really hard to argue with that. First revealed in 1988 in concept form, the XJ220 immediately drew global praise. The production version was ready to go in 1991 and it became an instant icon. There was simply nothing like it before. It was the first car to break 200 mph (top speed 217 mph), 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, and a total of 540 hp. Remember, that was almost 25 years ago, and those numbers are still more than respectable today.But Jaguar wasn’t capable of long-term maintenance back then, so it turned the operation over to this father-son duo.
