on bbc business news. jaguar land rover in trouble. recalling 36,000 sport utility vehicles.after state tv aired complaints over its gearboxes. jaguar landrover had failed to respond to customers complaints. good on the chinks.

sorry should have said above topic relates to china. were jaguar/landrover had open d a factory last year at a cost of a billion. failing to listen to customers concerns&complaints can kill any business . silly billys they aint that big and going on that performance wont get be

New factories often have teething problems, and probably JLR [China] were too eager to get cars out of the gates and in the showrooms.

 

There would also have been quite a lot of inexperienced workers  --  it takes time even for those on the production line to acquire the skills needed.

Agree with Peter on that score, you cannot open a new factory without fully trained workers never mind how much money is invested. Only time can produce the skills required.
