twin towing electrics

Hi i have a 57 x type 2.2 d just fitted a tow bar i need to know do i have to run a wire from the battery or can the split charge relay pick up a feed in the boot any help will be great thanks Mick

I am afraid I know little about electrics, always having my towbars [when I was still towing a caravan] fitted expensively by the local mobile fitter.

 

Jaguar give little information how to make electrical connections, and maybe there will be someone with the electrical know how to assist.

Hi Mick, I have no doubt that I would be able to assist you there if I had sight of a wiring diagram for your model. If you have the workshop manual then can you and me a link to the diagram?

Hi yes I have a workshop manual can you tell me witch diagram you need to look at as they all look the same to me thanks Mick

It sound as if I would need the references to look up which electrical diagram I would need.
