Hi

I am trying to locate a MK2 3.8 which belonged to my late father. The registration is OVL 38. I would be interested in knowing its history since my father owned it (circa 1973/78), I would certainly be interested in buying it.

I would appreciate any help or leads you could give me in tracing this vehicle. This is a precious and sentimental journey which I hope starts with finding that the car is still in circulation.

Hi Martin,

 

The first job is to find out it the car is still taxed.  Just try googling  "Car Road Tax" and go from there.

 

I don't know what to do after that but it it is still on the road that will be a start.

Best of luck mate, I too would like to locate an old XJ6 that my Dad owned in the 70's DUA 850K, Old english white with red leather, I would love to buy it if it still exists and give it back to him before he passes, Never forgotten the plate on it.
