No CD player

My new XE has just been delivered. To my surprise it does not have a CD player as standard. In fact none of the XE models now has a CD player. "Out of date technology".

There is an auxiliary USB plug but my dealer has not been able to advise me which portable CD player (if any) would be compatible to connect through a USB cable.

Has anyone had the same issue and if so which CD player has worked with your DAB radio system?

That does surprise me.

 

I suppose most car manufacturers like to move with the times, while most drivers hark back a bit to the old technology.
