Hello All,

I've bought my first Jaguar, an XF. I've always dreamed of owning one. I love the car and am proud to drive it.

I've always admired the etype and would one day love to own one, time and funds allowing.

The XK is also a favourite and its a shame that production has stopped, its a beautiful GT - one day I hope to own one of these classics - any tips in terms of what to look out for, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John and Welcome to the Club.

There was a member posting a few days ago who is selling his e type, which he bought from its first owner around 1974.  As you said, though, funds permitting, as a good e type with a service history will not come cheap!

I think the XK is a great car but it lacks the space to carry grandchildren around!  A Future classic.

And I think Jaguar might well produce a Mark 3 s type one day!

Meanwhile let the leafy lanes of Cheshire see your XF..

Regards,

Peter.

hi john you did not say what model of xf you have. it can get probs with the DPF if used for short journeys but a good blast once a week off 15-20 mile usually clears it, that is if its a diesel, other that that its a fine car to own, mate has one in 3years hes never had any probs
