Right I have searched high and low and given up

No where on the internet can tell me what the inside lights are called

Are they side lights? low beams? inner beams?

What does Jaguar call them?

The lights look like this 0o o0 whats are the small middle ones called? the ones in brackets.. 0(o) (o)0

I don't know how else to explain, I hope its not a lost cause.

Im sure the whole thing isn't just called (an x type headlight) and both different size lights have the same bulbs?

Thank you for any helpful replies in advance

I have just changed bulbs in both headlights my understanding is that inner ones are main beam and side lights while outer ones are dipped beam.

On my S type the inner lights are the main beam which also come on when you press the headlight symbol on the remote when going to/ finding your car in the dark.

Welcome to the Club, J.

Good answers already given.

I think you will find the club members rather friendly and helpfu.

Thanks for the replies!

Your both right, I did an in depth check today.

Basically the inner lights have 2 bulbs in each which are:

1. The Side (Parking) Lights, lights you put on when its starting to get dark (one turn of the knob) *quiet at the back*

2. The Headlights (the ones that you flash to let someone go)

Jaguars name for the inner set of lights are: Side (Parking) Lights

The outer lights are simply called: Headlights

Hope this information helps owners in the future, loving mine so far.

Thanks again

J
