Thanks Peter I will sort some photos. I bought the car as a stop gap really with only 71.000 miles the bodywork looked in great condition and when I bought it was pretty happy with it, but then one by one issues appeared and it transpired id been stitched up by the seller.

The bulk of the problems were underneath, rusted brake lines , radiator shot air con rad shot one of the sills was totally rusted so it crossed my mind to scrap it, rear calliper seized and leaking needed new discs all round , to cut a long story short I actually really like the car so have set about changing parts and rectifying problems which has required a lot of new parts and money but it was my fault for not checking the car properly when i bought it , it was raining I was lazy and cost me so far a fair bit .. What can you do ...anyway thought I'd save it and work has progressed fairly well .

Thanks for the welcome .

Thanks Peter , just changed front discs Bosch with mintex pads front and back . So far I've changed radiator ,air con rad , gearbox rad ( seeing as I had the pack out put a new one in , discs front and back . Had drivers sill repaired and welded, a full service oil air filters , solved the issue with the water leaking into the boot ( dry as a bone now) . Brake pipes I've changed 2 the whole length of the car, got 2 to do ..

Got track control arms on rear to do and rust prof underneath then spray the underside with a sealant . Also changed bonnet for one with no stone chips the boot lid is slightly faded so going to change that next weekend .

I won't get back what I've spent on it but there you go ..
