Hi All ....

Having had a good look around on the internet I read that in the menu somewhere you can enable day time running lights if fitted and auto folding of the mirrors , but I can`t the setting page to do this , can anyone tell me how I can find the setting needed ?

Cheers

Ray ......

On my s-type i can have automatic lights that come on when the light levels are low and to powerfold the mirrors i have to make sure the mirror selector switch is in the middle position and the press down on the adjuster. Hope this helps.+

Hi Ray

The x type doesn't have auto folding mirrors, i have had Auto Folding Mirrors on Double Locking fitted to mine (i bought a unit a member on another Forum makes) with Memory Seats it is fitted under the Drivers Seat otherwise it is fitted behind the Glove Box .

As for Day Driving Lights(i think these were only fitted to cars in Certain Countries and it was Dipped Headlights that were used ?) some members of x type's have turned there Fog Lights into Day Driving Lights ) Adamesh have replacement combined Fog and Driving Lights i think they cost about £ 250.

My own x type is a sovereign 2-2 auto with Memory Seats.

Regards Tom.

Hi Ray,

my 2009 2.2D SE Sovereign has manual power folding mirrors which can operate by pressing button on drivers door and I have just fitted DRL 's (plug and play off eBay £26.90) as per profile picture via a relay wired direct to battery (eBay £9.99) comes on with ignition and has 12 sec delay after ignition switched off, can attach one wire to headlight feed so they go off when headlights come on, but not done that yet.

Hope that helps

I do have power folding mirrors operated by the button on the drivers door, but I want to enable them to fold in when I lock the car , and it shows in the pictures I have added that its possible but I can`t find the page in the menu to do it ....

Can any of you guys access this page in the menu of your X-types ?

Is it just certain models that have this feature ?

Cheers

Ray .
