Found this corroded loose wire in the boot, can anyone identify it please.

Hubby (Jag man)thinks this is a transit relay connector that is used to stop battery discharging on transport before sale. Relay is removed at P.D.I.

I have the same, thanks.

also you might want to get that rust sorted, even if you just brush it with a wire brush and slap some hammerite on it sour stop it rusting though for a while 😊

That's funny, I asked this same question on the same day in another forum. The post by Morse dreaming is correct. Mine was corroded as well.
