HIengine failsafe mode keeps popping up i was recomended to take to garage had my throttle bodycleaned  with the proper stuff was told to have this done because was told it would cure it just  picked car up did 3ml and its started intermittingly   QUESTION what is wrong because the car runs very well but at the age of 74 i panick a bit yours T

hi, i would check your battery condition first, i was getting error messages, s type doesn't like a low battery voltage i was told. anyway i didn't realise it but my battery was only showing 11.9 volts when resting. but still starting and driving ok. should be at least 12.5. derek.

Derek is quite right.  --  There are so many electrical instruments on Jaguar cars that when the battery is low the car can switch off some of them.

But what until you are 85 till you panic   ---  us old guys have to got to show example to the young ones.

There are not many people like getting old.  I gave up playing Rugby first, Cricket second, Golf third, & Bowls fourth.

Giving up work was not an option, though, as the Rules said 65 for my day job and 70 for my part time job.

Getting under the car was not an option either  --  I could get under but not get back!

Hi pete still got our bussines but ionly go in a couple of days arms not to good legs not to good as for other lets just say i get real bad cramp  AT THE WRONG TIME so you can see why i dont like getting old  but i do enjoy life  just keep taking the pills
