what are you welding with, are you tig welding these

I take it the xk8's have rust issues, are they all like this, or just early ones

Great pictures Henry. I could almost feel the sparks running down my sleeve and smell the paint burning.

Thankfully my XK is one of the few cars I've owned that doesn't need surgery (yet) . I wonder if repair panels are available  for them. No doubt as they get older and become collectable, someone will start making them.
