ignition barrel x type

IHave a jaguar x ype 2003.  Am awaiting an ignition barre. I put my vehicle in a garage type place and the guy ordred the gnition barel and key.ThE key has arrived but the barrel s still awaiting delivery. They have had my car for 2 weeks and it still hasn't arrived from the agent they that thy use any ideas???

Two weeks is  long time to wait.

I would be inclined to pester them a bit, find out who their supplier is, and also do an internet check  ---   eBay or something similar to see what their delivery times are.

If you can get the telephone number of their supplier, a bit of pestering him could do no harm.
