Hi all I have had my 2009 x type for a few years now and I was thinking of changing the colour of the wheels to gloss black but don't know if it will look right so I fault ask you lot as don't want to ruin my car

HI Robert,

There is a wheel refurbisher a few miles from where I live who does wheels in any colour.  A lot depends on the colour of your car in the first place. Look up 1st class Alloys - Lichfield  for some ideas.  I thought of it but on reflection i decided that silver suited my Indigo Blue best.

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks mate I think I will stay with siver keep it all standard

Hi Rob,

Modifications are a personal choice and far from me to advise, however, I'm not sure black rim refurb will suit the X type. I will be having my alloys restored back to original spec and think this suits the classic lines and spec.

just my thoughts
