Hi. Recently the plunger that locks the fuel filler cap on my car has failed to protrude when the manual release lever by the seat is let go. This means that my fuel flap is always unlocked. I have tried to push the release lever back down, but there seems to be a bit of resistance and the plunger remains firmly in its housing (a bit like a tortoise's head in it's shell!!). Does anybody know if there's a manual lock inside the boot (a 2007 saloon) or how I can remove the current cable to replace it. Thanks for any help.
