Hi guys, just bought my jaguar s type 3.0 a 2003 model, done 72,000 miles looks really clean but unfortunately last night the radiator started leaking.the temperature  remind constant because I pulled over and let it cool topped it up with water till I got home.Any ideas where to take it to be fixed in south London pls? And that won't break the bank. Had it checked out by an RAC mechanic who told me what the problem was.

Thanks. Any advice pls?

Just been told mine is going as well, quoted around £500 for a fitted replacement.  Mines a 55 plate with 47k miles so does seem to be age/mileage related issue with the cars.

Interesting that 2 owners have reported the same issue within a couple of days.

Plus VAT is added of course.  Also followed the links from the site, to be honest I would rather pay that little extra, all though no guarantee it will be any better of course.  Besides I don't have the time at present, so busy at work as well as helping my better half with her recovery, so will bite the bullet, not worth the risk.  I had enough worries with the 1.8ZT and its associated cooling issues.  Besides knowing my luck it would all go pear shaped.

Two choices as I see it. One, put in a pot of K-Seal by Kalamex local car accessories shop around £10 or Two, Don't replace but have your own re-cored for about half the cost. Search radiator repairs in your own town or nearby
