First time X-type owner

Hello everybody. 

Bought a 58 reg 2.0S diesel X-type estate last month. Have enjoyed looking through posts and thought I'd join up.

The car is high mileage (154k) but drives really smoothly. Its also had plenty of services so, touch wood, it'll last me a while.

Its also probably the most comfortable car I've owned. You know you're getting old when a major factor in choosing a car is whether it aggravates your sciatica.

Hi Jon. I too am new to the forum also new to owning an X type

Our criterion was how easy it is to get in and out due to creaky joints. We "my wife and I" find it  good for this due to the short seats.

Welcome to the club, Jonathan.

My son has a similar car to yours, on a 06 plate but only just run in with 100,000 miles on the clock.

My s type allows me to get into and out of the car quite easily and that was one of the criteria when buying it.
