I have searched the forum and found a lot of very useful information, just to be certain, is this a suitable item to buy i.e the correct grade oil:

That's not the fluid that I used Dave but a quick bit of research suggests it is perfectly adequate.

 

If your local non-franchised garage is doing the job please make sure that they have an accurate way of measuring the fluid temperature in the sump and they know the range.

Thanks Paul, I thought it was the right grade Oil, just wanted independent confirmation really. I can supply them with a calibrated laser thermometer if they need one.
