Hi

Have been reading up on the rear parking sensor issue and how to remove sensors but how do you seperate the plug that holds the wires in place?

Mine is broken so close to the connector that i cannot just re-connect them.

Is there a simple way of releasing it as i dont want to use brute force and ignorance method just byet

Any help or info much appreciated

Thank you

sorry its a bit late, but to release the metal connector which is inside the plug you need a tool which is like a drinking straw.  you have to insert the tool so it pushs down inside so it releases two metal prongs that hold the metal connector inplace.  but the easy way is to cut the wires and fit another plug... to which it reads like you are going to do.... good luck and i hope you get it replaced........dave,
