Has anyone changed their grill badge from standard black to another colour ?

I want to change mine to red but I have seen on other sites that the facelift XF requires the total removal of the grill & font bumper to do this. So I would be interested to hear if this can be done more easily.

All advise very welcome.

 

A small dose of red paint might well do the job.

It should be the 85mm grille badge..Held in place with 2 pins and sticky tape..Heat the badge with a hot air gun / hair drier? And gently work around  under the edges and lever off (Care needed not to mark the surrounding seen part of the grille)
