Hi, 

I'm Ronnie and I've just put a deposit down on a 2006 XK. I'm trading my Mercedes SLK350 in against it. The Merc is a phenomenal car, very underrated, but I never really bonded with it. The XK is more "me". 

Should be picking it up at the weekend. I'm so excited it's a bit embarrassing! (I don't want to grow up though).

I know exactly how you feel: I felt like that two and a half years ago, when I bought my XK. The smile is still on my face all this time later.

What colour is it? Mine is Indigo Blue, and yours looks similar, though it is not easy to tell from the photo.

I look forward to hearing more when you pick it up!

    Hi Peter, Leo,

    The VIN decoder says that the colour is Slate, although that's a 2007 colour, so I'm not entirely sure. It does have a blue tinge to it. I'll check properly when I pick the car up.

    Phoned the dealer today and they said it was in the valet shop, so it can't be long now :Jumpy:

    It does look a bit more grey than mine, now that you mention it.

    Since it is now in the valet shop I assume it will be ready within 24 hours: One more sleep to go? If you can sleep!  :yes:
