Hello I have just bought a jaguar mk11 to carry out a complete restoration it comes with vin plates but no registration number,would anybody now if I can get registration from vin number and apply for v5 thank you


Hi Martyn, 

Welcome to the club and good luck with your restoration of a classic car.

I have always found the DVLA very helpful, and I think if you ring them with the vin numbers they will assist in providing a registration plate and suitable documentation.
