Hi,

I've recently bought a Jag X 2.5 SE AWD. It's been running good, however i have couple of things to clarify:

1) Drifting (This is the first time i am experiencing the AWD, so i am not sure whether the drifting is common)

2) Engine coolant is draining a lot.

3) Braking :- It takes lot of efforts to apply the brake especially on high speeds as compared to the FWD or RWD. Is it common in AWD?

Appreciate your thoughts.

HI

Did'nt think the s-type had enough power to drift, only kidding

do you mean the car wanders a bit, could be bushes or something like track rod ends, if you jack it up, you should be able to feel some play in the wheels

engine coolant leak, have a good look, you should be able follow the staining and find it, usually a hose, radiator or something like coolant expansion tank, they fail

brake are usually very good, if there poor, could be seized calipers, faulty servo or split vacuum pipe to the servo,

cheers

Joe

Thanks JO-DOT-COM. I got it fixed with my dealer. It's radiator caused the engine coolant leak, and the wheel alignment has been fixed as well. Now its better to drive.
