Diesel Particulate filter replacement

Hi,

I have purchased a new DPF filter for an S type SE TD 2720

I need to reset the ECU after fitting. Any advice. I don't wish to take it to a main dealer

If disconnecting the battery does not clear it, then your will need a generic engine code reader to reset it

I'm not sure on the dpf's but it may need calibrating with software, as its not the original, but might not

usually when you fix the fault the eml and codes will clear, on there own after a battery reset

maybe someone with a diesel will know more
