V6 3.0 S coupe, late 2014
Taking time to move around the visual display, all electrics shut down after about 6 or 7 minutes and ignition wouldn't rekindle although car would start. An attempt at using digital tyre inflator plugged into cigar lighter, a week or so later and the same issue after 6 or 7 minutes (maybe a tad more) power lost to cigar lighter and the ignition wouldn't come on? It's a problem if a digital tyre inflater can't be used due to power shut down before you've finished inflating them? Anyone else experience anything similar? Any resolutions? Jaguar have already checked the battery (before 2nd incident) and tested ut at 12.82 volts said it was fine.

Hi Mike, and welcome to the club!

I assume that the engine wasn't running when this happened. If so, this is a safety measure to prevent the possibility of the battery being accidentally run down.

To inflate tyres you could use the inflater with the engine running.
