Powerfold Mirror conversion

Hi,  new to all this but here goes. I have a 2012 xf 2.2D sport and would like to put powerfold mirrors on. Is it just a case of replacing the mirrors. Can they just be plugged in and a garage set them up or is it far more complicated than that. Many Thanks

Hi Peter, and welcome to the club.

I think the answer is that it is a bit more complicated than that.  I do not know the XF system, but the s type has a button that operates the mirrors folding in.  There is a module that will fold in the mirrors when you are locking the car, although my cars refuses it.

When Paul sees this post he will certainly be able to give you some better information.
