I have a 1967 Jaguar Mk 2 2.4, which I am looking to sell. Over the past year I have spent a lot on both engine and bodywork, although the interior will need some attention. Can anyone let me know what sort of figure it would fetch? The condition would be described as fair to good? Thank you.

Hi Philip and Welcome to the Club,

Its always sad to see someone parting with their Jaguar but then its also good that these motors remain in circulation and will undoubtedly found a good home.

I have no idea about value but condition is everything for the MkII - like everything else. May be a thought though to check out the dealer offering a similar MKII in the Cars for Sale link on this site. The dealer hasn't put a price on it yet but if you were to give him a call I'm sure he'll be asking top dollar or around it.

All the best,

Steve

Hi Phillip,

It is always sad to see a cherished car go.

I have had a good look around and have seen prices from a low of £2000 to some at £30,000.   The cost of replacing seats and other fabric  is not too high and if the wood trim is in good condition then the interior should pass muster.

The bodywork looks good and if there is no rust then I would be inclined to pitch a price at around £19,500.

Let us know how you get on.

Regards,

Peter.
