It all started when we were in the Yorkshire dales, driving around that lovely countryside.  when after a good few days I noticed that I was having to really pull up the handbrake as much as possible for it to actually work ?   so when we arrived back home, I set too on having a look as to what was going on ! …. On inspection the handbrake was only working on the drives rear side only, /o/s/r.        and the near side, n/s/r. was not working at all ?  The reason being was near side rear hand brake cable had jammed, not giving me the proper hand brake efficiency.  so booked the car in to have the work done, to have new rear hand brake cables both sides fitted with all necessary adjustments to caliper/pistons, plus cable adjustment. …… picked up the old girl, 4hrs later...and it feels 100% with a lot smoother action when pulling on handbrake. cost of work done 170 pounds. now giving me a good piece of mind of a job well done...🤗
