Just signed up to join the forum as a recently new to Jag ownership with my current X-type diesel, hoping to gain a wealth of knowledge from some of the topics on the forum.

Welcome to the club, Kalvy.

The X type is a good car and nice to drive. I had an X Type 2.5 litre AWD whichI thoroughly enjoyed.

One little bit of advice is to use premium fuel, as it does make a difference with diesel engines.
