Hi I have just lost the reversing camera guide lines on my 2011 XF Portfolio. Does anyone know how to reset them? I may have been something I did or, I recently let the battery go flat and it might have lost it's settings. I have looked in my manual but there is no information on how to reset them.

 

Not sure if it is the same but on the 2016 there is a button on the touch screen when in reverse that toggles the lines on and off

Further to Grahame's reply, I just checked the owner's manual for my 2011 XF, and there is no mention of switching the guidelines on or off, I'm afraid to say.

It must be a more recent addition!

I have done some more searching and it appears that it is most likely a broken wire in the loom. Not sure what that involves to get it fixed. I will make some more checks. Thank you for responding.

Did you ever resolve the problem

Just replaced boot lid loom, just in time as it had been badly refurbished in the past surprised how easy it was to complete problem now fixed reversing lines back
