Hi, just purchased a 2010 XF S 3.0D Portfolio with the Aero kit and the DRL's. This has replaced an early BMW E60 530d that I have owned since 2008 so I'm still pretty biased towards them atm plus I still have a 2006 630i M Sport convertible which is a dream to drive tbh.

So far I'm happy with the Jaguar in terms of comfort, looks etc but coming from the German rival it's a whole lot different. I've had the Jag for a week now and already having a few small problems, boot open fault which was a snapped wire (easy fix) slight rust on wheel arch (?) and a moaning wheel bearing that somehow didnt get noticed on the test drive....

Anyway, looking forward to enjoying the car and will post some vids of it running soon as it seems fairly noisy compared to the 530d it has replaced. But I will add that its scarily quick!!

Hi Elliott,  I've also just bought a 2010 XF-S 3.0 Diesel Portfolio.

Only driven it 4 times and had a tyre pressure warning and DPF regen.

Looks like we'll be learning about the car at the same time.

Hi Paul,

The tyre pressure warning seems to be very sensitive! I had it tell me off when my front right tyre was just 1psi low when cold!

Regen has not yet (fingers crossed) raised its ugly head!

Lovely cars though!!!
