Hi, not an owner but XE or do I need an XF? Love the way the XE drives but is there enough room for 4? Long away trips, football, sometimes same day back, sometimes overnight. or full lads out weekend away. Airport pick ups I do too for friends, all too frequently these days. Is there enough room in the XE because I love to drive, or do I need an XF?

Hi Mark, Never had an XF but I have an XE, absolutely love it but I would almost class it as a 2+2, the driver and passenger can relax in luxury, the back seat is fine for kids but adults on a long run will feel cramped.  A super car but not really a family car.

Thank you guys. What I suspected I might hear but needed to hear it 1st hand! Please forgive me if I don't swear in public and now go XF group and ask them. Never meant to be rude. Sorry. 3Litre diesel XF...??? Or, really be rude and actually swear?.. 530d BMW? Seriously, I have neither bought nor sold a car in nearly 15 years. The Beemer is bomb proof they say, the Jag is so, so much better looking I know, but just my own eyes. Did I just swear on a Jaguar website? Sorry. It's been a long time since I bought a car, a tad scary 1st time in 15 years. Know what I like but always BMWs look boring and Jaguars look gorgeous

Hi, I can confirm that I have recently had a lift in the back of a XE. It was not only very cramped but took me some time to get in and out without marking the trim with my muddy boots. I`m only 5ft 6" tall and slim build and wouldn`t want to travel very far in it. Great performance car though.

Cheers

Hi Mark,

I've had many years of company cars and had to buy one of my own a year ago. Always wanted an XF, not a new one (no point @ 62! :-(!

So found my dream car - a 2011 XF-S Portfolio!

Couple of issues quickly fixed, now 10K miles on and still in awe If only it didn't chew up rear tyres, or is that my fault!?

Friend has an XE, always wants to go places in my XF. QED!

Great car but just not enough space in the back and care needed getting in and out. It is a 2+2 really and if that suits you then the  superb drive and front seats comfort are a winner  sounds like you need the XF ...
