Hi.

Does the 2009 XK 5.0l have good security regards to the dreaded scanner thief. Know people who have owned Audi’s near me who have their cars stolen from their driveways overnight,

I have an 2009 XK. Just wondering if others on here recommend and faraday bag (signal blocker pouch)

or are the Jaguar XK more secure??

Hi Baz, I’ve not heard of one our cars being stolen in this way. That said I have 2 Faraday pouches, one for each fob. Well worth getting and they do work.😎

Hi Baz.

I work in policing and would advise this as a decent security measure. While i've not heard of any Jags going this way, i have seen numerous Fords going this way.

Regards

Poraic

I use an old sweet tin. Any tin as long as it's made of metal and is completely sealed will do, and you'll probably have one lying around somewhere. Maybe use 2 slightly different sizes, and invert one into the other - that should work.
