Key battery

Hi Guys (X Type)

Lucky for me I have 2 x keys , but one needs a new battery, are the batteries easy to obtain and to fit or do I need key to be recalibrated by a dealer ??

Hi Brian,

The batteries are very easy to get.  Poundland sell them as do Boots and other shops.

Fitting them is also easy - just follow the instructions in your owners manual.  I have done it about 4 times and they have never needed recalibrated.  They should be the same as the s type.
