No you can do it at home if you’ve purchased some adblue

A warning here about topping up Adblue. If you overfill you will have warning light problems and eventually you will have a failure to start warning. I recommend that you buy a REDEX Adblue 1.87 Ltr bottle (NOT REDEX ENGINE ADDITIVES JUST ADBLUE) Fill with that and then buy a 10Ltr tub from a garage and top up the Redex bottle. That bottle has a pressure system made into the filler and once connected will only add the correct amount then stop when near full. Keep it topped up and you shouldn't have any trouble. I have gone 5 years with this method and been fine so far. Others I know let it get to warning level and the had problems.
