Mould on seat belts and door pockets

I have had my XF for 7 years and have never experienced mould on seat belts when I pull them out or in the front nearside front pocket and rear offside door pocket and rear door magazine rack netting. 
 

I am negotiating buying a 2.5 year old XFS 2017 and have found this mould on it when I sat in it. It doesn’t smell of mould in the car as far as I can tell. The dealer stated it is caused because it has bern sitting around and not been opened for past 3 months because of Covid19. 
 

I can’t believe that is the cause. Any ideas ?

It is quite possible given the recent hot weather and any moisture within the vehicle. If it doesn’t smell of mould then it may just require a good clean.

I would, however, pay particular attention to the door and window seals.😊
