I have just bought a 2011 XK with 21,000 on the clock.  It is in good condition though doesn’t have much by way of factory options fitted.  None the less it is a beautiful car and drives superbly.  I am looking forward to putting a lot more mileage on it and learning it’s foibles as we go along.

Welcome to the club, Jack.

Notwithstanding the lack factory fitted options the XK is a very nice car and a head turner.

You can examine the possibility of retro fitting some of the options that have been omitted  --  there are several members who are able to assist you --  and a great deal of information from those who have actually retro fitted in their own Jaguars.

Thanks for the welcome gents.  I will take pleasure in driving it for a while before deciding what if any of the options I think would be useful to have.  It already has the six CD changer and the Aluminium trim.  Initially a heated steering wheel seemed a good option, so that may well be a consideration before winter comes upon us.
