Hi All,

Way back in 2008, my mother became the second owner of a low miles 2005 Jaguar X Type.  She loves the car, and still has it today.  Oddly enough, the car came without a moon roof (which was apparently standard on all vehicles), and with 16" Tobago rims, rather than the standard 17" rims.  Any thoughts as to why that might be?

I had a 2005 X type SE, and it did not have what we called a sunroof.   To my knowledge they were not standard.

My X type did have 17"  rims, but I did not think they were standard,  - I thought that the 16" was the norm.

Peter.

My 2005 2.2d SE has no sunroof and 17 inch alloys.

I've got a 2.2d estate, auto, 2008, 17" Alloys - no sunroof

Welcome to the club, Mark.

I have never seen a sunroof on x types or s types. I had one on a Rover Sterling and never used it  -  it was a pain in the neck, just noisy.

Regards,

Peter.

My "old" S type R has a glass moonroof, my "new" X doesn't.
