Does anyone know where the key access is on an X260 if the battery was flat? It seems that on the pre facelift there was a cover next to the boot button, but i cant see that on an x260.

Have a look behind the number plate. Failing that, open the bonnet and hook up a supply to a positive and ground, purely for the purpose of opening the boot.

Thanks, Yeah I check behind the plate already nothing there.

Good shout on connecting to under the bonnet terminals, will give that a try.

Surely there must be somewhere to manually open the boot.

Got in through the back seats. Ok to be more open, when i said flat battery i really should have said disconnected battery.

Yes i disconnected it to see if that would help with my live and navigation account not working. Closed the boot as here in the glasgow area an open boot soon fills with water. I wrongly assumed there would be a key whole at the back.. there defo is not.

Thanks for your suggestion
