Buying an impounded S type,is it worth it?

Hi There is a S type 2007 Jag which has been impounded by Guernsey Border Agency. It is now for sale via sealed bids. It has been in the yard for a while and the battery is flat and the one key looks like the fob is broken.My question is, will there be issues with the electronic managment of the car of it has been flat for so long and could this be costly to get it running again?

its pot luck really, it could start straight u or be an absolute nightmare

would of thought getting parts over there would also be awkward

depends what engine is in it also
