Hi all ,    I’m having trouble with my keys as they both keep coming up with low battery ?  The batteries have been changed and it was ok for a few days but now the problem has arisen again.   Any suggestions ?

sorry forgot to say. It’s an XF sport and 62 plate

Hi Tracey

Welcome. First choice, given the cost, would be to get some more batteries which are from a reputable source and a well known brand. Batteries do have a shelf life and if they are from fleabay they may be either very old or not very good.

John

Hi Tracey, and welcome to the club.

John has given you a good answer.  You can get the CR2016 from Boots and other similar companies.

I would also look at the car battery which normally lasts about 5 years, and it could be worth checking the age of you battery.

Let us know how you get on.

Regards,

Peter.
