Wheel Refurbishment

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

The only think that lets down the appearance of my XF is the wheels. Two are 'OK' the other two are embarrassing (not my fault - inherited!) Problem is, they are 20" Selina wheels with mostly knackered plastic fins.

Can anyone suggest a wheel restorer in Sussex or at least the south east?

Cheers,
Jon

I've used both of these companies:

https://www.kerbed.co.uk/    based in Henfield

https://www.wheelworksuk.co.uk/index.php based in Crawley

They were both pretty decent and I'll use one of them again as I'm in a similar situation to you in that my wheels are looking rather scabby. The two seem to be on a par with price and turnaround time but I might use Kerbed as they seemed to be more sympathetic to my indecision on colour choice on a previous set of alloys!

As I understand it the default choice is always Lepsons (https://www.lepsons.com/) and I believe that they also have a courier service too.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for that, once I get my cracked cam cover replaced, I'll be off to one of your suggestions.
Cheers,
Jon

Don't do it - I had mine done and now terrified to park in case I kerb one 🙂
