A little over two years ago I began a restauration project on my latest used Jag. I bought it for £2000.00 and after a short run I soo found a few problems, in fact I don't know how it passed it's M.O.T.

All four ball joints were on the verge of total collapse, so was I when Neil from Mugglestone conversions, told me about rust underneath seized brakes and hand break even the boot lock was jammed. So I thought I'd better do something that I've always wanted to tackle. Partial restoration and respray. Fortunately Neil is a very competent and honest person. he made the necessary repairs and even Wax oiled the whole underside. Guess what, it sailed through the M.O.T. first time.

When I got it home it was a real treat to drive, just like a Jag should be.

I have now got to put the electronics right and I'd appreciate any information I can get on, how to programme the driver seat controller, or any other advise on restauration.

I've found a cure for sagging roof liners too.

Good luck with the resto !

It can sometimes open a tin of worms but just look at each item as an individual job and not as a whole as it can be overwhelming otherwise
