Had this happen on a previous vehicle I owned. Cured by using a small amount of "three in one" oil on the runners. It never re-occurred. Hope it proves successful for you.

Best Wishes, John

Hi--I think the old remedy to cure this problem was to brush a small amount of talcum powder in the runners ???

I can vouch for the fact that talc works between squeaky floorboards, but do not know about window runners.

Best of Luck and wishes, John

No Talc would not be too dry ??  You do not to use something greasy or wet as that will just be messy

and everything will stick to it ----I'm convinced the answer is Talcum Powder ????--  Try it ??????????
